About This Scholarship

Georgia Tech's Yellow Jacket Esports Grant combines merit-based funding with academic achievement recognition. As one of the nation's top engineering schools, GT attracts technically skilled gamers who excel both in competition and in analytics-driven coaching environments. Recipients compete in NACE and collegiate circuits while gaining access to GT's unmatched tech industry network in Atlanta.

Eligibility

Open to all GT students and admitted students. Both in-state and out-of-state students eligible. Award is merit-based and renewable for up to 4 academic years, subject to academic performance review.

3.0+ GPA

Minimum required

League of Legends, Valorant, Overwatch 2, CS2, Rocket League, Hearthstone, Rainbow Six Siege

Admission to Georgia Institute of Technology

Tryout and selection for varsity esports roster

Minimum 3.0 GPA (reflecting GT's academic standards)

Full-time enrollment
